01 Drive the edit

02 Cut and assemble

Can I edit videos with Claude Code or Codex?
Yes. In the Mac app, go to Settings → Agents, toggle on Claude Code, Codex, or Vertex AI Gemini, or connect any MCP client via pbedit mcp.
How is Plugbook Edit different from Descript or CapCut?
Descript edits around a text transcript; CapCut gives you manual tools one at a time. Plugbook Edit's Director edits on a full multi-layer timeline, remixes entire reference videos, and verifies its own work on rendered frames.
Where does my footage go?
Your footage stays on your Mac inside ~/Movies/Plugbook Edit/Projects/ as APFS clones that take zero extra disk space. Project and media files are never uploaded as telemetry.
